Maladaptive me: An awareness

Maladaptive me or dysfunctional behaviour is a behavior that you want to reduce. It might be hitting, running, spitting, nail-biting, and many more. Sometimes, people react to incidents in a way that do not prove effective for them. Whereas people with maladaptive behaviour consistently prevent harmful situations. Some people develop maladaptive behaviour by preventing every small and significant issue in life, resulting in other extreme maladaptive behaviors. The stress that follows after preventing results in many health conditions such as headaches, muscle aches, hypertension, nausea, and irritable bowels.

Several mental health problems develop to influence physical components like fatigue and weight loss. The development of diabetes in a patient can also be related to anxiety. Another symptom which follows in a maladaptive person is harming oneself, which causes stress, depression, and overwhelming anxiety. You also begin developing a lack of desire and reduced self-esteem. Many maladaptive me daydreamers confessed that they were unaware of this term and recently came across this term.
